Following up on our previous post "Plastic Block Building Hints & Tips for ALL AGES" https://www.cuteblockplants.com.au/post/plastic-block-building-hints-tips-for-all-ages, we thought we would just expand on some of the difficulties that can be experienced and our ideas for overcoming them. For both kids and adults ; )
We personally build every Cute Block Plants creation multiple times, periodically to ensure quality. And we are always around to help or for support if you need (it is best to message us direct through the website chat or Facebook Messenger) with any photos and/or details.
Most of our product lines or series become easier once you have made one creation from that series or group. These series generally follow a standard build pattern or design, unless they are a significantly different creation.
Sure we have instructions but they do not actually cover every piece or placement, and can sometimes be a little bit confusing sometimes even for adults and children alike. Generally when you have similar colours it is easy to use the wrong one. Once a coloured plastic block is used, it is then shown assembled in a different shaded out dark grey or blueish colour (see below the snip from the Yorkshire Terrier dog build). So often when you are near the end of the assembly and cannot find the coloured plastic block and you happen to have one of the wrong colour, you now realise you have to go all the way back...
There can also be confusion when the instructions tell you to turn the assembly piece around and you do not see that needs to be done.
So here is our tip especially for animal, cat and dog building. These series or groups of builds as mentioned generally follow a standard build pattern or design so a good idea is to actually build it in the parts and do not put them together until the end once you have used up all the parts. So when you are building keep the sections of the build apart until the end.
As we said in the previous tips it is always a good idea to put the right parts out as it calls for them in the instructions. Do not forget you can skip ahead in the instructions at any time, especially if you notice not many pieces left to ensure you are using the right ones!
Happy building everyone! ; )
